Macau's March casino sales increased by 22.2% to 25.95 billion Pataka (about 340.5 billion yen) = 20 consecutive months plus previous year
Macao Government Hideaki Observatory Coordination Bureau will increase Macau's monthly casino sales in Macau this year (2018) by 22.2% from the same month of the previous year and 6.8% from the previous month to 340.5 billion yen was released in the latest statistics.
Macau's monthly casino sales were down year-on-year for 26 consecutive months from June 2014 to July 2016, but it remained positive for 20 consecutive months from August the same year to March this year. Last year, except January and June, it exceeded the 20 billion Patatka range.
The cumulative casino sales for January - March this year is 76.510 billion Pakuta (about 1.00 trillion yen), up 20.5% from the same period last year. The plus width increased 0.8 points from the previous month.
Last year, cumulative casino sales totaled 265.743 billion pataka (about 3,448.8 billion yen), up 19.1% from the same period last year. The annual casino sales of Macao will be positive for the first time in 4 years since 2013 since the year before. Macau's annual casino sales rose sharply up to 2013 after entering the 21st century. The peak sales in 2013 were 360.749 billion Pakuta (about 4 trillion 733.4 billion yen). 2017 is the same level as 2011.
